Madagascar

An abstract representation of the Baobab Tree bloom. Baobabs are  trees recognizable by their distinctive swollen stems.  The  tree’s  fruits are large pods known as ‘monkey bread’ or ‘cream of tartar fruit’.  They only bloom in the spring at night.  The Baobabs are found in Africa, Australia and Madagascar.
You will notice the blooms are cartoonish in comparison to the landscape, playing on the b
izarre blossom.
